The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is here! Although the biggest in Houston doesn’t officially get started until Feb. 27 at NRG Park, there are plenty of fun Rodeo events to attend between now and when the it ends on March 18.
- Rodeo Houston — The premier activity is the Rodeo itself. From Mutton Bustin’ to chuck wagon racing and barrel racing to bull riding, Rodeo Houston is always a thrill to watch.
- Nightly Concerts — After the last rodeo chutes close and as the dirt in the arena settles, the lights come back on and a state-of-the-art production occurs as some of the biggest country music stars take the stage. Two music acts are scheduled throughout the rodeo, including Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Jason Alden, Thomas Rhett, Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and many more.
- Concerts at the Hideout — Once the concerts end, the Rodeo’s honky tonk turns up the music loud. Dance the night away on the a spacious dance floor while hearing some of the best up-and-coming musicians in country, pop, hip hop, R&B and Tejano.
- Livestock Show & Horse Show — Walk around the grounds to see the competing horses, goat, sheep, pig, horse and cattle. Or sit to watch the horses compete.
- Carnival & Activities — The carnival is busy throughout the Rodeo, and little ones love the hands-on activities at Kids’ Country and Adventure.
